CONVENTIONAL/TRADITIONAL FARMERS

Our conventional/traditional milk comes from independent family run farms that practice traditional farming methods.  This makes up 65% of our milk intake. On most of these farm’s the cows have to freedom to graze and to enjoy the pasture during the warm months, typically between April to October. When the cows are housed, our producers have invested significant sums in appropriate accommodation to ensure that their herds are well cared for, comfortable and are able to express natural behaviours. All Cotteswold Dairy Conventional farmers are within 30 miles of the processing site in Tewkesbury.
