HOME - FARMERS & MILK > CHANNEL ISLAND FARMERS

Cotteswold Dairy Channel Island milk is produced by using milk from our Jersey and Guernsey farmers, they are independent family-run farms that practice traditional farming methods. On these farms, the cows have the freedom to graze and to enjoy the pasture during the warm months, typically between April to October. These farms tend to run largely on a grass-based system vs feed, similar to a free-range or organic farming system. All our Jersey and Guernsey farmers are Red Tractor assured and comply with industry standards for animal welfare.  The Jersey Cow is very inquisitive and they have lovely characters and temperaments but they do have a stubborn streak.
